Scratch Coding Camps: Ages 8-11 (Laptop/Desktop Required)
At our five-day virtual camp, MAMA.codes digital whizzkids will explore Black Heroes - Real & Fictional. This camp includes five live taught, small group coding workshops (one per day), and a range of extension activities to keep young minds busy in between classes. Full instructions and activity sheets provided.
Scratch Jr Coding Camps: Ages 5-7 (iPad Required)
On our virtual camps, MAMA.codes digital whizzkids will explore and create projects based on the theme of our camp. Our Scratch Jr camp is 4 days long.
This camp includes 4 live taught, small group coding workshops (one per day), and a range of extension activities to keep young minds busy in between classes. Full instructions and activity sheets provided.
Halloween Special Trick & Code
Halloween might be cancelled in the real world but that doesn’t mean the kids have to miss out!
At MAMA.codes we’re running a Halloween Special Trick & Code, where your child will be able to take part in some online spooky coding games dressed as their favourite character. With your help, the children will also be able to take part in a coding scavenger hunt and we’ll be giving out some special coding treats including the chance to win 6 weeks worth of coding classes. Entry costs just £10 for a whole hour of Trick & Code fun.
Vlogger Academy
Does your child want to be a budding Youtuber? At MAMA.codes we get it - you want to encourage your child’s passion but you’re worried about the safety of platforms like Youtube - especially given recent news about child privacy.
Therefore, due to popular demand, we’ve decided to launch a special 3-day Vlogger Academy where your child will be taken through the thinking process of how they plan, design, prepare for and put together their own Youtube video with their target audience in mind. They’ll then be able to create their first video and share it in a closed and safe space that only includes other MAMA.coders to be able to get likes and feedback on their creations.
It’s real-world experience without real-world risk.
At MAMA.codes we’re passionate about empowering children to be able to use technology safely and confidently while giving parents the peace of mind they need to know their child is protected. Equip your child to become a digital creator and not just a consumer with this very special limited course. For ages 8-13 (Children aged 5-8 may take part with the support of a parent).
